The brief.
Hairshop is an online retailer of premium hair-care brands sold through a standalone ecommerce store.
When OneLeg took over the Google Ads account in September 2024, it was generating around $23K a month in attributed revenue off one blended Performance Max structure covering the entire catalogue.
The brief: scale that revenue meaningfully, without return on ad spend slipping as budget grew.
What we did.
We rebuilt the account’s campaign structure around individual product lines instead of one blended pool, so budget could go where it actually performed rather than being averaged down across the whole catalogue. Stronger performers were funded on their own terms, and dedicated layers were added to capture demand at different points in the funnel, including a remarketing campaign built specifically to bring return visitors back.
That structure isn’t static. Segments get split out and rebalanced on an ongoing basis as they grow, rather than being set once and left alone.
The result.
Monthly revenue is up 6.2× since September 2024 (from $23K to $142K) while return on ad spend improved 30% over the same period.
Growth didn’t come from simply spending more: order volume grew 6.3×, in line with revenue, meaning the extra sales are real customers, not just a bigger number on a smaller base.
Scaling an account like this while return on ad spend keeps climbing is the result of two years of continuous, deliberate structure.
